The second 2025 Remploy dissemination event “Orientamento e benessere nei contesti universitari" (translated: "Orientation and well-being in university settings"), organised by the University of Naples "Federico II", took place Friday 11th April 2025, in the Google Meet online platform, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
After the institutional welcome given by the Universities Units coordinators, Professors Vanna Boffo, Laura Formenti and Maura Striano, the pedagogical framework on orientation and well-being in university settings begun.
Professor Maura Striano, Ordinary Professor at the University of Naples, presented the theoretical concepts and practices that the department implement for the inclusiveness of students ant their well-being thorugh the SINAPSI centre.
In this regard, Professor Mariarosaria De Simone, from the Univesity of Naples "Federico II" introduced the discussant Alessandra Priore, Professor from the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, who presented the topic of orientation, as an interconnected aspect to many educational and professional processes that affect the way people take their life choices and future projects. Moreover, she mentioned the importance of taking care of risks and potentials which may influence the trajectories followed by students, once the academic studies are completed. In terms of self-fulfilment, individuals need to feel coherently fluent in feeling free to choose by committing themselves in matching with inside and outside necessities of the world. Furthermore, the Professor dealed with the sensitive issues that the society constantly face, because of the steady change which creates a uncertainty and unlinear existential paths.

The event is part of the PRIN Research Project (2022LTZXNA), REMPLOY, Reconsidering Graduate Employability: Educational Pathways for Transitions to Work (2023-2025). The Project, conducted by the Universities of Florence, Milano Bicocca, and Naples “Federico II,” is concerned with studying the conditions of Employability of Master's Degree Courses in the pedagogical area with the aim of contributing to the definition of Educational and Training Professionalism in the contexts of Pedagogical Coordination, Business Management, and Institutional Leadership.
